No research has been conducted to establish damage thresholds for the other nematodes which attack mint. In pot studies, mint growth was reduced by mint nematodes at 133/quart (Jatala and Jensen, 1974), pin nematodes at 2000-8000/quart (Faulkner ,1964), and northern root-knot nematodes at 100-300/quart soil (Eshtiaghi, 1975).
